History and Structure
In 1996 Sheriff Ltd. has begun its commercial activity.
September 1996, the 1-st Supermarket has been set up; the Commercial Department started working in the central office.
1997, the Company has begun dealing with retail and wholesale trade of food and household commodities.
The year 2002 became a crucial moment for merchandising management. A great emphasis was put on quality of service, staff functional qualities improvement, marketing research, expansion of the range of goods and appeal for the local manufacturers.
2004 the two new supermarkets have been set up, in Slobodzeya and Rybnitsa. A total reconstruction of both Supermarket-1 and Supermarket-3 in Tiraspol has been completed. Rybnitsa Supermarket-5 was completely reconstructed.
In 2006 two more supermarkes have been set up in Bendery and Grigoriopol.

Sheriff supermarkets in Tiraspol, Rybnitsa, Dubossary, Slobodzeya, Grigoriopol and Bendery 3 wholesale markets, wholesale store, 11 breadshops and 3 minimarkets are operating, having about 9 thousand square meters of total sales area.
A great stress is put on psychological point. This is why some skilled psychologists are working there; it is very often when the Company invites the specialists to take some trainings among the salesmen. Adopting the experience of the best commercial organizations of CIS-countries and ones of far-abroad helps us to attract a number of new customers.
Every day we serve about 27,000 customers in our retail supermarkets. Aside from that about 600 wholesale customers handle purchases at three wholesale stores daily. Two of them are in Tiraspol, and one is in Rybnitsa.
The goods assortment has increased till 8,000 products species compared to 2003. Turnover of commodities has increased till 30% compared to 2003, in 2005 till 43% compared to 2004.
In 2004 Agroprombank represents a new payment system “Rainbow” based on usage of microprocessoring plastic cards, implemented in Tiraspol supermarkets. Since spring 2005 this method is working in all the supermarkets of other inhabited localities, as well as on the fuel stations in Tiraspol and Slobodzeya.
Trade infrastructure is represented by the network of supermarkets, minimarkets, wholesale stores and fuel stations.
