History and Structure

In 1997 the State Programme for Television and Radio Broadcasting development was worked out with a view to information security of Transnistria and public consumption of multi-channel television. Within the framework of this Programme Sheriff Ltd. has received a State order for MMDS system installation and built up and put into effect the TV head-end station at the earliest possible date.

This system enabled reception of different Russian language TV programmes by satellite and their transmitting on 24 channels at centimetric band. At the same time the Multichannel Television dismantled the outdated community antenna television system, and has built the modern distribution facilities, performing its service maintenance.

Thus multichannel television has been established in Transnistria, and it has been working for over 7 years, providing the population with a quality transmission of 34 best programmes of worldwide television, on 24 TV channels.

The structure of the Multichannel TV includes administration, broadcast studio, service division, control service, antenna service, accounts department, marketing department.
